Post surgery

I tore my left leg's ligament back in September due to a soccer game in espzen.
And sadly it was my last game of the year after that.
Hoping that it wasn't anything serious back then was too much to take when my MRI result came back with a torn ligament and damaged mensicus.
I once hated the guy who gave me such a bad tackle so badly that I wish karma bites him back hard.
But months after the incident, I just forgave him although I would hate him once in awhile.
Slowly I just accept the fact that my ligament was torn and I can't do anymore sports related activity unless an operation is done.
Due to my devotion to soccer, I decided to pick up my courage and go under the knife to get my ligament repaired.
But trust me, the thinking of getting operated is not a good one.
I can no longer be the natural me anymore as implants will be used during the operation.
30th May was the day of my operation and I was in fact a little excited about it.
Thinking of how I can get back to soccer and play sports like a normal guy again simply excites me.
Before the operation, I have to answer tons of question given by the nurse and the questions ask by different nurses repeat itself.
After answering all of their questions, I was finally being asked to change.
After changing into the clothing that they gave me, I was told to sit in a wheelchair and they just push me to the operation theatre.
While I was inside, I was asked to lie on the bed and there they asked me the same questions again.
They asked me at least 3 times while I was inside the operation theatre.
After 10-15minutes, I was finally pushed to the operating table.
I was told to get to the table and they just started sticking lots of pad like things on me.
I only recall that one of pads are to monitor my heartbeat.
When the pads are done, they finally took a long needle and inject it into the veins of my left hand.
Lastly, they inject the anesthesia liquid through the needle on my left hand and I black out within seconds!
I swear I tried to fight against the anesthesia effect but it was helpless.
The next moment when they woke me up, my operation was already over.
I had difficulties moving around at first because of the after effect of anesthesia.
I felt drowsy most of the time and I had no appetite at all!
Thank god the second day was a lot better compared to the first.
I had some of my appetite back but I still had difficulties moving around with my leg hurting most of the time.
And now, it has been a week plus after my surgery.
I still have restrictions while walking at times but I am definitely walking much better compared to the first day.
I have to do a lot of exercises everyday just so that I can get back my quad muscles.
I am glad that I did the surgery and I am definitely recovering a lot faster than I expected.
Till then again!
